About Tallulah McIntosh

I have drawn, painted and been creative all my life. Although I have not been formally trained I was brought up in a very creative family where my mother and father are both artists and therefore I have always had the encouragement and advice at hand. I have used water colour paint and oils and am now developing a real love for pencils.

I have always enjoyed making things. Hand making gifts for family and friends. 2011 I discovered needle felting, I had tried wet felting before but this was fantastic and much more specific when creating details. I quickly realised that this was another way of creating beautiful animal replicas, indeed it is possible to make anything that you can imagine! I am continually fascinated by how a 3D sculpture can be created by a load of fluff and a barbed needle.

I currently work as a riding instructor and horse trainer and have worked with animals since 1996. I have always had a strong affinity with animals so my passion is to strive to capture the core character and spirit of each individual I paint or sculpt.
